Please help me raise money for Capital Region Go Red for Women.

My Why - For me and all the other women who focus on the number from that silly little box on the bathroom floor. I have struggled for the past 13 years to get off my High Blood Pressure Medicine. It was not until the Better U program with consistent diet and exercise that my numbers improved even though I was at a higher weight then when I started medicine. 

Since my time with the Better U Class of 2018, I have gained the weight back for various reasons, but I will always have my Better U sisters for support. Some may say I have failed, I say the only way to fail is to stop trying. 

We as women need to tell our stories with our heads held high regardless if they are good or not so good, so each of us out there knows she is not alone.

Heart disease being the #1 Killer of women, the loss of my Grandfather and  Uncle Pete along with my Husband, Chuck receiving a stent during COVID is why I am Co-Chairing the 2022 Go Red for Women Campaign and raising money.
