THE INNOVATION PARTNERSHIP, BETWEEN ALBANY COUNTY AND MVP HEALTH CARE, MAKES A DIFFERENCE.

Are you ready to make a difference?

Join the Nation of Lifesavers by learning Hands-Only CPR at our second CPR Community Day! The American Heart Association and the Innovation Partnership between Albany County and MVP Health Care are bringing the community together to learn the lifesaving skill of Hands-Only CPR in one exciting day!

This informative and engaging Hands-Only CPR Training is designed for individuals of all skill levels! This essential training is perfect for anyone looking to learn how to save a life in an emergency situation. 350,000 people in the U.S. experience sudden cardiac arrest in the community each year. 90% of those people die. 70% of cardiac arrests that do not happen in the hospital, occur in homes and private residences. CPR, if performed immediately, can double or triple a cardiac arrest victim's chance of survival.

For adults and adolescent children, Hands-Only CPR is an easy-to-learn skill that requires only two steps: call 9-1-1 emergency services and push hard and fast in the center of the chest at a rate of 100-120 beats per minute.

The training is for Hands-Only CPR. It is NOT a certification course. For information about becoming certified in CPR, visit cpr.heart.org.
